The purpose of morning prayer
is to set your mind to Make your whole day full of peace and spirituality.
How should we perform it?
For the enhancement of devotion it is necessary to start some daily practice of
devotion, which is called ‘Sadhana’. The aim of this Sadhana is to get the mind
accustomed of sitting for a regular practice of devotion and focusing on the
divine form of God. Shri Maharaj Ji says without this training of mind, we can
not go even one step ahead to devotion. Meditation upon the divine form of God
(or Roopdyan) is the life of our sadhana. All other devices are like body.
So, what should we do to start practicing Roopdhyan?
1. Chose a beautiful picture of your Ishtadev Shri Krishna, according to your
own choice, which naturally attracts your mind.
2. Prepare a place of sadhana, in which you should put only the selected
picture of your ishtdev and Gurudev. It is better if you prepare this place in
an isolated area of your house.
3. Fix up a time for your regular daily Sadhana.
4. When you sit for your Sadhana, Feel now I am away from the rest of the
world. Only my Guru and Ishtadev are here with me. Close your eyes, focus on
the live divine form of God with the help of your selected photo. Make sure you
don’t have to focus on the picture. Rather with the help of picture try to
visualize that the same God, who I saw in the picture is gradually appearing in
front of me. Feel His presence, serve Him with a fan, wash His lotus feet or
press His feet. Do everything in your mind. It is not mere an imagination.
Since He is sitting in your heart anyway and He is watching all your sentiments
closely. Resolve again and again that He is mine, He alone is mine and enjoy
the exclusive beauty of his golden crown with peacock feather, His forehead
with a shiny Tilak, His shoulders adorned with a silky cloth or Peetamber, His
chest adorned with couple of necklaces and Banmala, His waist with golden
studded belt, and lotus feet with beautiful anklets. Increase your intentness
to see God in His full divine form during sadhana. Now to
set up your mind to do sadhana you have to follow this
order:
1. Recite prayer and create
humble feeling with the help of the words of the prayer composed by
Shri Maharaj Ji.
2. Perform Arti of Guru to increase your love and
reverence for Him and to express your gratitude for his grace.
3. Sing couple of bhajans to practice roopdhyan.
4. At the end of your daily Sadhana, perform the Arti of Shri
Radha Krishna.
5. Offer food (bhog) and eat the same as Prasad.
At the time of offering bhog, try to imagine the scene that He is really eating
and I am fanning to drive away any insect. Afetr performance of this daily
practice, try to feel the presence of God, whole day. Be with God and Guru all
the time. You can start your sadhana now. I wish your utmost success.

Guru Arti
Jayati jagata guru guruwar ki, gaao mili arti rasikavara ki.
Let us perform the aarti of our revered master- Jagadguru shri Kripalu
Ji Maharaj, who is the crest jewel of rasik saints.
Guru pada nakh mani chandrika prakash,
Jake ura base take moha tama naash,
Those, who are always surrendered to Him, the dark of Maya from their
heart evaporates immediately, with the effect of the divine light emanating
from the nail-Gem of His lotus feet.
Jake math naath ! tava haath kare vaas,
Taate hoya maya moha saba hee nirash,
O Lord, The power of M aya, with all its attributes, becomes worthless
in front of those, who are protected by you.
Pave gati mati rati radhavara ki, gaao mili arti rasikvara
ki.
Gaao gaao mili arti rasika vara ki. Jayati jagadguru…….
Thus, your devotees attain the abode, knowledge and love of beloved of
Shri Radha,
Are mana ! moorh chhaanra naari nara haath,
Guru bina brahma shyam hoon na denge saath,
O foolish mind ! forget about the backing of the material beings. You can
not get the help of even the Supreme Lord Krishna without the grace of Gurudev.
Komala Kripalu bare kripa sindhu naath,
Paa ke inhen aaj tu anaath ho sanaath,
You are so lucky to have shelter at the litus feet of Gurudev Shri
Kripalu Ji Maharaj, who is so simple hearted and the ocean of mercy! Hence, why
don’t you take shelter at the lotus feet of such a kind master to end up your
pitible condition of being an orphan since eternity?
Inheen ke aadheen kripa giridhara ki, gaao mili arti rasika
vara ki.
Gaao gaao mili arti rasikvara ki. Jayati jagadguru…….
The grace of God is also under His control. Hence, let us perform the
aarti of our revered master- Jagadguru shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
Bhaktiyog rasa avataar abhiraam,
Karen nigamaagam samanvaya lalaam,
He is a beautiful incarnation of the nectar of devotion and He is expert
in reconciliation of the contradictory aspects of the Vedas and other
scriptures in a stunning way.
Shyamaa shyam naam roop leela guna dhaam,
Baanti rahe prem nishkaam binu daam,
He is openly distributing the nectar of the divine names, forms,
pastimes, attributes and abodes of Shri Radha Krishna without any cost.
Ho rahee safala kaaya naari nara ki, gaao mili arti rasikvara
ki.
Gaao gaao mili arti rasika vara ki. Jayati jagadguru…….
Thus, He is rectifying the lives of the human beings. Hence, let us
perform the aarti of our revered master- Jagadguru shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
Lalee laal leela ka salona suvilaas,
Chhaaya divya drishti beech prem ka orakaash,
His eyes are saturated with the divine light of the beautiful divine
pastimes of Shri Radha Krishna.
Veisa hee vinod vahee manju mridu haas,
Karen basa barabasa uchcha attahaas,
Jhoomi chalen chaal vahee natavara ki, gaao mili arti rasikvara ki.
Gaao gaao mili arti rasika vara ki. Jayati jagadguru…….
This is the reason why His humors, luscious way of smiling,
fantastically loud laughters and swaying gait are precisely similar to that of
naughty Shri Krishna.” Hence, let us perform the aarti of our revered master-
Jagadguru shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
Guru Stutee (Homage to Gurudev)
Matpreyaan radhika preyaan, maddhavo radhika dhavah,
tasmaadapi gareeyaanyo kripalur me jagadguruh.
The beloved of Shri Radha is my beloved; the Lord of Shri Radha is my
Lord. Yet, still greater than Him is my guru, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji
Maharaj.
Gurum bhajati shri kirsnah sri krishnam bhajate guruh.
Siddhantatastva bhede'pi, kripalur me gurur mahan.
The guru worships Shri Krishna, and Shri Krishna worships the guru.
Although according to the scriptures there is no difference between God and
guru, yet from the practical point of view, the guru is greater, since he takes
one to God.
Yasya sakchhad bhagavati, gyaan deepap-prade gurau.
Martyaa saddheehi shrutam tasya, sarvam knjara shauchavata.
He who bestows knowledge, i.e. the guru, is God himself. One who thinks
a guru to be an ordinary human, may follow all sorts of methods to go to God,
but all his actions (austerities, penance, charity etc.) are like an elephant's
bath.
Esha vei bhagavaan sakchhaat, pradhana purusheshvarah.
Yogeshvareir vimrigyanghrir, loko'yam manyate naram.
Guru is veritable God, who is the governor of Maya and greatest amongst
all. Yogis desire the foot dust of such a guru's feet, but ignorant people
think him to be an ordinary human being.
SHRI KRISHNA – STUTI ( By- Shankaracharya Ji
Maharaj)
Yamuna nikata tatasthita, vrindabana kaanane mahaaramye,
Kalpad-drumatala bhoomau, charanam charano paristhaapya.
Inside a very beautiful flowery grove in Vrindavan, by the bank of River
Yamuna, Lord Krishna is sitting underneath the 'kalpa' (desire-fulfilling)
tree, with one leg crossed over the other.
Tisthantam ghana neelam svatejasa bhaasayantamiha vishvam,
Peetambara paridhaanam, chandana karpoora lipta sarvaangam.
His complexion, as blue as a rain-bearing cloud, illumines the world
with its luster. He is wearing a yellow shimmering silky shawl. His body is
anointed with a paste made of camphor and sandalwood.
Aakarna poorna netram, kundala yuga manditash - shravanam,
Mandasmita mukha kamalam, sakaustubhodaara manihaaram.
His captivating large eyes appear to almost reach His ears, which are
adorned with earrings. There is a very gentle smile on His lotus face and He is
wearing necklaces made of precious gems like 'kaustubh'..
Valayaanguleeyakadyaa - nujjvala-yantam svalankaaraan,
Gala vilulita banamaalam svatejasaa pasta kali kaalam.
Such is the luster of His divine body that it is enhancing the splendor
of His bracelets, rings and other ornaments. This transcendental luster is
destroying the darkness of Kaliyug. His neck is adorned with a beautiful
'Banmala' (garland made of five flowers: Tulasi, kunda, mandara, parijat and
lotus). He is destroying the darkness of Kaliyug.
Gunjaa - ravaalikalitam, gunjaa punjaanvite shirasi,
Bhunjaanam saha gopeihi, kunjantar vartinam namata.
His curly black locks embrace His head like twining creepers, and the
humming bees attracted by these vines of love are further enhancing the scene.
Bow down to Lord Krishna, who is sitting in the grove, enjoying food with His
friends, the cowherd boys.
Mandaar pushpa vaasita, mandanila sevita paranandam,
Mandaakini yuta padam, namata mahanandadam mahapurusam.
Remember the embodiment of extreme bliss,, who is tenderly served by the
gentle breeze, which is made fragrant by the flowers of the 'kalpa' tree, and
whose lotus feet are the dwelling place of the divine river Ganga. Bow down to
Him, who is the embodiment of Supreme Bliss.
Surabheekrita digavalayam, surabhi shateiravrtah paritah,
Surabheetikchhaapana mahasura bheemam yadavam namata.
Bow down to Shri Krishna, who has made the entire area so full of divine
fragrance, and who is surrounded by hundreds of cows. even more beautiful than
the heavenly cow'Kamdhenu’ . Bow down to the prince of Yadu dynasty, who
protects the heavenly gods, and terrifies even the most frightening demons.
SHRI RADHA - KRISHNA - ARATI
Aarati preetam pyaari ki, ki banavaari nathavari ki.
Let us perform Arti of beloved Shri Krishna and exceptionally sweet Shri
Radha, whose favorite ornament is nose ring.
Duhuna sira kanaka mukuta jhalakei,
Duhuna shruti kundala bhala halakei,
Duhuna driga prema sudha chhalakei,
Chaseele beina, raseele neina, gaseele seina,
Duhuna meinana manahaari ki, ki banavaari nathavaari ki.
Shri Radha and Krishna are gorgeously adorned with dazzling golden
crowns. Their earrings are moving to and fro beautifully. Sweet nectar of
divine love is overflowing form their eyes. Their talks are fascinating, Their
eyes are full of nectar, Their glances are heart piercing. Their beauty
attracts even Cupid (a celestial angel of beauty).
Duhuna driga chitavani para vaari,
Duhuna lata latakani chavi nyaari,
Duhuna bhaun matakani ati pyaari,
Rasana mukha paana, hansana musakaana, dasana damakaana,
Duhuna besara chhavi nyaari ki, ki banavaari nathavaari ki.
I sacrifice myself on Their bewitching glances. The beauty of Their
curly hair is exceptional. The movement of their eyebrows is striking. The
beauty of the red juice of betel leaves on their lips, sweet smile and luminous
teeth, are captivating. What to say of the beauty of nose-pearl, which is
really unique.
Eka ura peetaambara phaharei,
Eka ura neelaambara laharei,
Duhuna ura lara motina chhaharei,
kankanana khanaka, kinkinini jhanaka, noopurana bhanaka,
Duhuna runa jhuna dhuni pyari ki, ki banavaari nathavaari ki.
The yellow silky shawl is nicely fluttering on the chest of Shyam
Sundar, on the other hand a blue saree is adorning the body of Shri Radha Rani.
Pearl-neckleces are adorning the upper body of both of them. The jingling of
their bracelets, tinkling of their waist-belt, and the rattling of Their
anklets are creating a most attractive combined sound, which is extremely
enthralling.
Eka sir mora mukuta raajei,
Eka sira choonari chhavi chaajei,
Duhuna sira tirachhe bhala bhraajei,
Sanga braja baal, laadilee laal, baanha gala daal,
'Kripalu' duhuna driga chaari ki, ki banavaari nathaavari ki.
A crown decorated with the peacock feathers is embellishing the head of
Shri Krishna and a chunari is beautifying the head of Shri Radha Rani. The
heads of both are slightly leaning on each other’s head. A group of gopis is
standing around them and They are standing putting their arms around each
other. Although this scene is reaaly spectacular, yet what to say of that
rapturous scene when they look intently in to eyes of each other!
